Our Hinckley Joseph Carter was born in Sacramento, California 5 years ago today. His first year of life was hard and he was sick but we made it through and now here we stand 5 years later! I can hardly believe he is about to start school. I am going to miss him so much during the day. He is so smart and inventive. He is a go getter and ambitious. He is happy (most of the time), he is the BEST big brother EVER. I am really surprised what a gentleman he is becoming. He reminds me so much of his daddy. He has a tender heart, a giving heart, and the biggest heart. He loves to laugh and make people laugh. He is the best artist and hug giver. He loves having friends to play with and loves to learn. I think I could go on and on and on. I wouldn't trade any day of the last 5 years for all the money in the world. He is my little Hinckley Joe.

I LOVE YOU BUDDY. You have been my rock for the last 10 months. You have changed my life and has made it better EVERY SINGLE DAY of the last 5 years. Keep smiling. Keep laughing and STOP GROWING UP!

What a cute kid! There are a few pictures from when Hinks was a baby that totally look like Kate. Might have something to do with his very blue eyes (which Kate also has!) Can't wait to squeeze this kid next week! Happy Birthday Hinckley! And Congrats to Bethany and Troy for making it through 5 years of parenthood!
Isn't he just a jewel!! Loved these pictures and watching Hinckley grow up (as much as I can from a million miles away). He is a really sweet, good boy. My love!
