Hmm - I'll guess October 18th. I'm torn between the 18th and 19th...but for now lets got with the 18th!! Hope the last part is going okay for you! It's nearly over!

Courtney:
I say that they will induce you on Oct. 19 because the baby will be measuring big and they won't want you to go any longer, but that is the earliest they will do it... :) I have a guess if they don't induce you (Oct. 29th) but that's not fair to have two guess... right? :) Good luck in these next few weeks! I'll be anxious to hear how everything goes!

JJ
Okay B-Dog...I am going to say October 27th because that is my mom's birthday! I know I'm gonna win becasue the first time I ever went to Coldstone was with you...I just realized I never said a time, so I still say October 27, at 6:26 am, cuz my birthday is 6/26 :P

Baby C UPDATE

I went to the doctor today! I went in for a non stress test and everything sounded well. The doctor measured my ever growing belly and told me he was concerned that I was still measuring 3 weeks small... SO his direct quote, "If that baby is not growing we will have to take it today." WHAT? Like for real like induce me today and have like a baby today? YIKES! So I went in for an ultrasound and everything looks ok. He is still measuring 5 days small but he is still growing so thats good! The doctor also said that if the ultrasound looked good today that we would induce Tuesday. However, he didn't realize he would be gone so that is cancelled. So hopefully this baby will hold off until next week!

Some Baby News!

Last week when I went to see the doctor he said I was measuring 2 weeks small. (I am pretty sure I did this with Hinckley) However, when I talked to him about how I started to loose fluids and the placenta started dying (with Hinckley) he thought it would be a good idea to do another ultrasound. He normally only does ultrasounds if you are measuring 3 weeks small or 3 weeks big. HOWEVER, with this new piece of information he thought it was a good idea. Which I was VERY happy about!

Here are stats about baby C:

Weighs: 6 pds 9 oz. Yikes I hope we dont have a 9 or 10 pd baby!
Measuring: about 8 days behind! I hope he doesn't come 8 days late
Head down!
Has hair, not surprised by this b/c Hinks had hair too!
Head: measuring at 48% for his age group
Stomach/waist: measuring 49% for age group
Femur bone: measuring a WHOOPING 94% (the ultrasound tech said she didn't know if she had ever seen one that big) I guess that means we will have a tall baby boy!

50% is considered average so that fact that this baby is in the 94% is pretty amazing! He had his hands up by his face the WHOLE time so we only got to see bits and pieces of his face. I think he is going to have a button nose like me and Hinckley! We still have 4 weeks left! I was measuring almost 3 weeks small this week but my fluids looked great!

Baby BOY carter!

We had an ultrasound this week on Wednesday. I was excited to go but sad Troy couldn't come with me. He had a class HE COULD NOT miss. Oh well, I would much rather have him ace a test because he got the study guide and come or fail b/c he came. We were pretty sure that this little one was a girl. This pregnancy has BEEN SO DIFFERENT then when i was pregnant with Hinckley. I have a cousin who does foot reflexology and she "read" my feet and came to the conclusion I was having a girl. Troy had some crazy dreams we were having a girl and I just thought for sure we were!

The ultrasound tech was so nice, new and slow but very thorough. I got to see all 4 chambers of the heart which was THE MOST AMAZING THING! I spotted the little boy part and about fell off the table. There was NO mistaking it though. The baby was estimated to be about 10 oz. which she said they like to see them at 12 oz by 20 weeks and I was just over 19 weeks measuring so thats a good thing! The baby was breached but of course that doesn't mean much now. She said my fluids around the baby looked pretty good. I guess they like to see it around 10-20 or something like that and I was at a 12. She looked really hard at the babys face to look for a cleft pallet. He looked great! His little arm was back behind his head (his daddy and his brother do the EXACT same thing) and she says that is a sign of contentment. I left shocked but SO EXCITED for another little boy. We have everything except diapers and we feel so blessed. We totally had a girl name picked out so now we are back at square 1. How do you name a kid when you have a brother name Hinckley? Any and all suggestions will be considered.

Paradise here I come

Hinckley and I leave for Arizona in just 3 short days. I am beyond excited! We will get to play all day long in the sun. My parents are the best and are flying us out to see them. I guess they understand that this time of year I get frustrated with the weather and so they ship me to their house.

On a side note... I find it so interesting sometimes how the Lord works. Troy and I have been trying to have a baby pretty much since August 2007 and have been through a number of miscarriages and heartache. No I am NOT pregnant but I do hope that soon we will be blessed with another one. I feel so blessed to have Hinckley. Sometimes when I start to feel frustrated with the situation or upset I think about my NUMEROUS friends who as of yet have never been able to conceive. I then start to feel really guilty and feel selfish but it is sometimes so hard when my very NUMEROUS friends are pregnant. Actually, let me clarify that statement.... I feel sad when friends of mine who have 2 or 3 or more kids are having more kids or friends who had a child after I did are already pregnant again with a healthy baby. Not mad at them just sad that it is not me.

I just feel a little sad today and it is sometimes so frustrating when people make comments like, "oh when is baby number 2 on the way?" and "are you pregnant?" I just want to say BACK OFF you have know idea what I have been through. Actually, I have a few other choice words for them. Anyway.... I just want a little buddy for Hinckley to play with and I want to expand our family.

I am almost to my 100 post which for me is very exciting! Maybe that post will be of me and hinks playing in the pool while my husband is freezing his buns off in 10 degree weather!

Just call us a Bed & Breakfast

So I am starting to get really anxious about this week. Our good friends Evan & Diana are coming this week to pick up all their stuff they left here a year ago. They arrive here Monday afternoon and leave early Thursday morning. It will be fun to catch up with them. Tuesday April (Troy's older sister) and her husband are moving in for a couple of weeks. Which may not sound crazy but Wednesday afternoon April is getting induced to have her first baby! They are moving the 2nd week of September to Spokane, Washington so he can start Grad school in a PT program. And the contract on their apartment goes out the end of August. I am really excited to have a little baby in the house but I AM SUPER nervous too. I hope we can give them enough space and I hope we can get April recovered enough that she can move safely. I also hope we have some space too! (Maybe it will be good birth control! LOL) We had some people live with us back in April for 2 weeks and it was really really really hard having them here. Even though they lived downstairs it was still really hard.

I went to the doctor last Monday and was planning on having a D&C on Tuesday. However, I was pretty much done bleeding and so I thought it was a little crazy to have surgery when I didn't need it. They took my blood again and it was still a little over 100 and so I have to go back in on tomorrow and see what they say. I started cramping and bleeding a little today which is so frustrating. The whole whirlwind of the past couple of weeks have started to hit me. I feel a whole swarm of emotion from anger to resentment to fear to sadness. A really good friend of mine gave me a book this week called Jesus Wept. And I have really enjoyed reading it. I am just feeling a little empty.

On the upside I got to spend all week with my wonderful husband! It was been just amazing to catch up and reconnect. It feels like he never left! I also got to go and get a facial with a dear friend of mine LaNelle this week and she introduced me to sub zero ice-ream. YUM! I also got to spend all day yesterday shopping and stuff by myself and with my little sister in law Kristin. And Troy bought me a Anniversary present! (Our 3rd anniversary is this Wednesday!)

Negative+Negative=positive?

This post may not interest you at all but considering I take it as my journal I must write about it.

I went and saw Troy the end of June for graduation (a total of about a day and half) and we had a wonderful time together. In fact I would go as far as saying that it was the on my top 3 days of my life. When I got back I started to feel pregnant. I was tired, I was winded at the gym, my chest was growing (sorry about the details), headaches... etc. etc. Well, I take a pregnancy test it was negative... 2 days later I take another one it was negative (mind you I had already missed my period by this time). So I thought okay well onward and upward. A few days later my period shows up and it turns out to be fairly normal, nothing out of the blue. A week goes by and I start to spot... and then it stops for a few days and shows up again and stops and shows up again. I just attributed it to stress and anxiety. Well, I get back to Idaho and about a week later I wake up and I am in enormous pain. (those of you who have given birth or who have experienced a miscarriage know what I am talking about). I started bleeding A LOT more and I was just miserable. This was a Saturday so I called the doctor and they said to come in right away but I didn't think that our insurance would cover it. So I waited until Monday to go it. (I got a phone call Saturday night and was asked to teach the lesson in RS the next day... A LITTLE CRAZY!)

I went in on Monday and talked with the NP and she said she had a feeling I was pregnant. And I very bluntly told her she was wrong because I had my period after seeing my husband. She insisted on a blood test and sure enough I tested a BIG FAT POSITIVE for the pregnancy hormone. I seriously couldn't believe it. How did 2 negatives turn out to be a positive? They checked my iron level and said I was a little below normal which okay they just needed to watch it. They also did an ultrasound and didn't find much there. So I went back Wednesday for them to take another blood test and the pregnancy level was going down (like that was a no brainer) and I expressed my desire to have a D&C. They told me they only do D&C on Tuesdays so I would have to wait until then. I was really frustrated because I just wanted to stop the pain and the bleeding. It was a very emotional week for me. I went from being really angry to being numb to being sad. Troy just got home today so I went through his basically on my own. THANK YOU SABRINA FOR THE FLOWERS!

Many people do not know what its like to have a miscarriage and it really is NOT pleasant at all. I think once you go through something like this you really tend to be a little more compassionate to other people when they go through something like this. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the next couple of months.

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED CONCERN AND LOVE!
