Good-bye Mexico
This is a picture of our last Formal night and an ice sculpture. Cruising is WAY FUN! I think we will plan on doing it again sometime.
Last and Final stop?
On our way to Cabos San Lucas the Captain came over the PA system and said they were having engine problems. PANIC PANIC PANIC! I started freaking out, but he reassured us that it was something that could be fixed we just might not make it to Cabo. Well, we made it! And it was beautiful!
Because the port is small you have leave your cruise ship and from the boat and get on these little taxi boats.

A picture of the arches on the taxi boat, lovers beach, sea lions, etc.

We took this submarine/boat ride out. We saw a ton of fish and all sorts of fun things like scuba divers, caves, and more!

Second stop?
Our second stop was Mazatlan. I LOVED THIS CITY! If we ever go back, I think this is where we will visit. We took a Historic tour and I am so glad we did. It was so beautiful! This city has the most public beaches in all of Mexico! It has these old cobble streets and all these monuments that have symbolic meanings to them. The streets are so narrow that our tour bus would sometimes hit the curb, or was that bad driving?!
Our first stop was an old Cathedral.

Troy at the confessional booth

My cute hubby next to a tree.

This crazy guy jumps off this rock, of course for the tourists!

Waiting for the waves to come in

Off he goes!

Can you spot him?

Almost back safe!

Here is my cute hubby again, can you tell who did the pictures?!

Us together.

I think that is a lighthouse on top, made me think of my Mom!

We went to a cultural event called the Paplan Flyers
These cute dancers!

More dancers

A cowboy

The papantla flyers. They climb up this pole and tie ropes around them and cascade down upside down, CRAZY!

First stop?
Puerto Vallarta was our first stop. I must admit I was very disappointed when the first thing I saw was a wal-mart and sams club.

We went horseback riding at the base of these mountains

Here are a few views from the ship

This is a picture of the Mexican Navy ships... Not too many

Out of the 3 cities we went to I was the least impressed here. As we drove towards the Sierra Mountains to go horseback riding we saw A LOT of poor and destitute people. A lot of shacks if you could call them that and crime. In fact we had a Mexican police officer escort our group and he went right up to a family who was near the river and stole the dads shoes. Just went right up and took them, didn't say anything and just kept riding his horse. I couldn't believe he would do that in front of us. But then again he did look a bit scary!

Our Cruise
Kathy, Kristin, and our boys headed home the day after Disneyland and we headed off to our ship! It was really hard for me to say good-bye to my boys. With exception to Troys BCT graduation I have always been the one to put my boys to bed! WE MISSED THEM LIKE CRAZY. But we did enjoy our time. The check in process was so efficient and easy, I WAS VERY SURPRISED. We got on the ship, checked out our room and headed for lunch! We ate A LOT of food. LIKE ALL DAY EVERYDAY. The Horizon Court was open 24 hours so we ate A LOT. Then we toured this ship. IT WAS HUGE.
It had over 10 hot tubs and pools
2 night clubs
1 theater (we saw some fun shows!)
a library
I think about 4 stores
About 7 or 8 eating places
FREE soft serve ice-cream
Gambling
Tennis courts
a circle walking track
A spa
I know I am missing a lot. They had all sorts of entertainment and activities. From art to golf to champagne tasting to behind the scene tours. We got to see comedians, musical shows, game shows, you name it!
We hadn't even left Berth port (LA)

As we were leaving the Port we saw dolphins jumping in the water. IT WAS SO COOL! Random fact: We had a didn't guy pilot the cruise ship out of the port then we did during our stay. Weird huh?! I tried to get a picture of the dolphins but it was an EPIC FAIL!

A picture of the outside of our room. I dont think I got one of the inside but it really wasn't picture worthy!
