Nov 4th thankful

Tonight I am overwhelmed again with gratitude for my Father in Heaven. We had so many tender mercies today. I am thankful our flight made it on time. We got our rental car with no problem. We got our rental truck no problem. Got into the house to get our house no problem. Had some amazing help from friends loading up our stuff and then again to the big trailer. Returned the truck. Drove back to Pocatello just in time for it to start snowing. I am so thankful we are safe. I am so thankful for the babysitters who have my kids this weekend. I am blessed tonight. I am thankful for inspiration.

A thankful November

So I can tend to be very negative when life gets tough. I love this time of year when the weather gets a bit breezy and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I think I need to have a little more gratitude in my life. So I am hoping to do a thankful November to remember. Hopefully every day or every few days I will write things I am thankful for this Holiday season.

November 1st: I am thankful we were invited over to dinner tonight at a friends house. The food was yummy and the company and change up of the norm was really nice.

Halloweenies II

I have so much to catch up and no motivation to do it. Sad I know.

*Still no job
*Still no place to live
*Yes that means we will probably not get into the house
*I had my first parent/teacher conference and HINCKLEY ROCKS AT SCHOOL! He is in the top reading level for his class and is performing at or above grade level in every category. WAY TO GO HINKS!
*Chandler is SUPER cranky because he is sick
*Troy is super cranky because he has no job
*I am super cranky because the 2 previous statements
*I have gained 8 pounds since Troy got home. YES 8 pounds and I have no cool excuse for it like pregnancy or anything like that
*We head to Idaho this weekend for yellow ribbon and it will be PACKED with stuff to do like get our stuff out of storage, see my brother and go to a big family thing for my grandparents

Lets see I know there are about a million other things but thats it for now

My little Halloweenies

A week before Halloween on Monday night we decided to carve pumpkins. See in Idaho you can carve pumpkins a week early and its so dang cold outside they will be okay. Here they shriveled up and got moldy. YUCK! But they had fun despite Hinckley having a fever that Chandler now has... BOO for sickness!
Daddy and Hinks doing pumpkins
Chandler did NOT want to put his doggy costume on and begged and begged to wear this costume. So it worked out!
Hinckley decided he wanted to be a super hero for the church trunk or treat. He had just been to a birthday party that was themed super hero so I think that is why he changed his mind which was totally okay with me!
Look at this cute graveyard treat! No I did NOT make this. LOL!
About 10 minutes before we headed out for trick or treating Hinckley decided he wanted to be a knight. So we first started off with tin foil..... That kept falling off to....
Duck tape. Yes DUCK TAPE. The poor kid was duck taped together. And I think it I got it a bit too tight on his arms but he was a champ.
